02 · Challenges we faced

Twelve branches, twelve versions of the truth

Meghna Traders runs 12 retail branches across Dhaka and Chattogram. Every branch tracked stock in its own spreadsheet, and head office spent the first week of every month reconciling numbers that never matched.

Stock counts were off by up to 18%, causing missed sales and dead inventory.
Purchase orders were placed by phone with no approval trail.
Month-end closing took the accounts team nine working days.
